SEALING AND SIGNING DOCUMENTS

Each plan, specification, report or other document issued by a registrant must be signed and must be sealed or stamped by him either manually or electronically. Each page of each set of plans submitted to a public authority must bear the registrant's stamp or seal, signature and date.

Registrants may not stamp work that was not prepared under their responsible control.

The board passed regulations allowing electronic sealing, signatures and dates in 2006. For more information, download "Electronic Stamping Regulations."

NAC 623.763-766 detail the use of a stamp/seal and the required contents of documents submitted to a public authority.
