Retired or Inactive status: Nevada does not have an official retired or inactive status. However, you may notify the board that you are not renewing your
license and it can be noted that your license is “inactive” or “retired” instead of “expired.” If you are inactive or retired, we will not send you renewal notices. To request inactive or retired status, please send a written request to nsbaidrd@nsbaidrd.nv.gov.
Change of Address:NAC 623.160 requires a registrant to advise the board, in writing, of any change of address or place of employment within 30 days after the change. Download a change of address form.
Firm Approval and Registration: Entities doing business under a fictitious name that offer architectural, registered interior design or residential design services for Nevada projects must be approved by the board. Click here for more information about firm approval and registration.
